Founded in 1995; celebrating 15 years in 2010!
In 1995, Elizabethtown College alumnus S. Dale High, together with representatives of Elizabethtown College, founded the S. Dale High Center for Family Business to fill a recognized need. With family businesses comprising the backbone of our economy, strengthening entrepreneurial families has a great impact on the community. The S. Dale High Center for Family Business has always been dedicated to bringing the best available resources to families in businesses for south central Pennsylvania and beyond.
Today, the S. Dale High Center for Family Business is proud to be one of the largest and oldest such centers in the country.
A year-long observance has been planned. Highlights include a campaign to double membership from January to June, a new member celebration on Thursday, June 17, and a special 15th Anniversary Stellar Seminar in September at the Lancaster County Convention Center in downtown Lancaster, featuring Bo Burlingham as a guest speaker, author of Small Giants: Companies that Chose to Be Great Instead of Big.
